AI+ for Quantitative Imaging

The AI+ Quantitative Imaging Shared Facility aims to advance microscopy image processing and analysis through the development and application of computer vision, AI, and deep learning techniques.

Office Hours:
We host office hours dedicated to image processing and analysis open to anyone from the broader UChicago research community.

Office Hours Details:
Time: Every Friday, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: GCIS Meeting Room 400A

If you have any needs related to image processing and analysis in your projects, we welcome you to join us for discussion and support. Our team is here to assist with any challenges you may be facing and to help improve your imaging projects. If you are interested in collaborating on a research project with support from us, you can send a proposal to CLS Director (Margaret Gardel; gardel@uchicago.edu).

Tutorials and Courses

  • CLS Image Analysis Seminars
We host a series of seminars dedicated to image processing and analysis for CLS labs and for the broader research community, enabling image analysis fundamentals and facilitating research projects employing ML/DL based advanced approaches. Topics include: cell segmentation, particle tracking, feature extraction and morphology analysis and quantitative intensity analysis.
  • DSI Clinic Course
Project-based Data Science Clinic course starting 2024 Fall. Project: AI-based cell segmentation application and evaluation. Information could be found at https://datascience.uchicago.edu/education/data-science-clinic/ (after the school year starts)
